Prior to accepting the Executive Director position for the Pasco Chamber in 2011, Colin and his wife owned a couple of small service-retail businesses and operated a small cherry orchard outside of Pasco.
Before returning to Tri-Cities from 8 years in the Seattle Area, Colin worked and consulted on numerous local, federal and statewide election campaigns. Upon his return to Pasco, Colin served as the Government Affairs Director for the Home Builders Association of Tri-Cities. He continues to consult on grassroots mobilization for business, transportation, energy and agriculture for Drake Strategies.
Colin sits on the Hanford Area Economic Investment Fund (hanfordfund.com), Meier Architecture & Engineering Board of Directors, and serves on the Executive Committee for the Annual Water Follies event featuring Unlimited Hydroplane Races held each year in the Tri-Cities. He also is on the board of directors for the Pasco Kiwanis Club and Pacific Technology Alliance promoting rural broadband access and sits on the Washington Policy Center Eastern WA Advisory Board.
Colin graduated from Seattle University with a degree in Business Administration. He and his wife Lara have two young and energetic sons.
